Problems Printing to a printserver

I have one xp pro client, out of several, that can not
print to the print server. It works fine on the parallel
port but will not print to the Print Server. I have
checked all the setting and they are correct. IP works
fine for the internet and network. Any suggestions as to
how to diagnose this problem? Should I try to reintstall
the NIC card and TCP/IP?

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you "ping" the "Print Server" from the problem computer?

What kind of "Print Server" are we talking about (e.g. Windows computer, HP
JetDirect)?
 
PC Notebook: HP XP Pro upgraded from XPHome
Print server: DLink 704p router with Printserver combo.
The printserver is functioning fine with all other XP
computers.
The HP Notebook can access the internet and the local
domain.
