We have PowerPoint 2000 for our business. Recently we
created several PowerPoint presentations for a meeting and
added .wav files for sound. We practiced and tested
everything multiple times and the sounds all played just
as expected. Then suddenly in two of the presentations,
the sound would no longer play. We tried deleting and
adding the sound again, and still no luck. Copying the
slides to a new presentation then adding sound...no luck.
The only way to fix it was to create the slides from
scratch and add the sound. Essentially creating a new
presentation on the fly in about 2 minutes. Has anyone
else experienced this problem? Any thoughts as to the
cause and what we can do to prevent or fix this in the
future?
Much appreciated.
