I've had some problem with Office 97 (excel specifically)
which caused me to re-install Excel. This is on a WinXP
machine. Now when I open a file by browsing 'My
Documents' or by clicking some shortcuts that I have
saved on my desktop I get the error: "A document with
the name {name} is already open. You cannot open two
documents with the same name even if they are in
different folder."
The file was not already open. Nor was Excel even running
at the time. This did not happen before the reloading of
excel.
Any ideas?
