Hi,
I upgraded from Win98 to Win 2000. Upon the initial reboot the system
hangs. Specifically it is hanging on the 2000 splash screen after posting 8
small squares in the progress bar (it looks like there could be 18 or so if
they all displayed). I tried rebooting in safe mode but that does not work
either. I tried to re-run the upgrade, but now it says no previous version
of Windows is installed. I really don't want to lose the applications
installed if that is possible.
Any help would be absolutely appreciated.
Thanks
Rich
