problems movie maker storyboard video playback

Can anyone please help? I have a prolem playing back my clips on the story
board/timeline section. When i drag the video clips from the collection
window to the story board and play it i only get a black screen but normal
audio. I therefore cant edit any video sections. When i play in the
collection window i have normal audio and video. Can any one PLEASE HELP to
rectify this problem. Tx ERIK

Seems to have the" correct files"(WMV/WMA) - USED gspot to confirm file
types. Problem stil persits. Any other sugestion. tx

Good luck...no guarantees...just suggestions.

Try reducing your Graphics Hardware Acceleration
as per the instructions in the following article.

If it improves the issue, you need to search the
support website of your Video adapter's mfg. for
an updated video driver.

If that fails...maybe installing the following codecs
would help:
