problems installing DNS cacher

Hi, hope you can help me with this...


I'm trying to install AnalogX FastCache program; a DNS cache that
requires TCP/IP DNS to be set to 127.0.0.1 .



Entering that in the Network/LAN/TCPIP-Settings to set DNS lookup gets me...

"IPs starting with 127 are not valid because they are reserved for
loopback addresses. Please specify some other valid value between 1 and
223"

(I trust the company, they make some pretty nifty tools so I'm pretty
sure it's my fault the thing isn't working.)


Any ideas ?

(My ISP's DNS servers sucketh royally, so I'm trying to keep valid hits
around for awhile instead of relying on them for repeat business all the
time)

Don't use them! Plug ANY decent DNS server(s) into your setup and keep on
truckin'!
