Problems installing 9700pro AIW

Hi!

Just bought a 9700pro aiw. When I try to install it the picture is garbled
in a very weird way. Looks almost like a scottish tartan pattern. Stripes of
green, black and red etc fill part of the screen. It doesn't help if you go
into the bios screen. The corruption is still there.

I have a P4 2ghz hanging on a DFI WT70-EC mobo (yes, it's a fujitsu scaleo).
I'm aware of the fact that it only has a 250w psu but I also tried the card
in my older computer (athlon 1ghz, asus a7v, 300w psu) and the problem was
there too.

Anything I can try or do or is it RMA time?

It's RMA time. You will get new card in a few weeks. You can verify by
underclocking RAM but I would not risk voiding warrantee.
