Hi

I have Win XP home on my laptop connected to Cable internet through a
hardware router firewall. I have configured two accounts (for me and
my wife) on it. Both of us will be logged on all the time. Now
recently, IE has stopped working in this configuration. We have to log
the other person out before IE works. If both of us are logged on,
when we open IE, it just sits there and does not open any webpage.
Outlook and Yahoo messenger detect the internet and work just fine!!
Once we log the other person out, IE will work like a charm!!Anyone
knows whats going on?

Thanks

Question...
How is it exactly that you both log on to Windows XP Home
at the same time?

No special magic to it. You create more than one account. Then when XP
starts, it will ask you which user wants to logon. You choose the
user, then if you want to go into the account of the other user, just
select Start->Log off -> Switch user. Then you will come back to
opening screen where you choose the other user. In this scenario, you
are NOT logging off.
