I was using Outlook 2000, and upgraded to Office 2003.

I'm having problems importing my contacts from Outlook 2003 to BCM 2003.
I've tried doing a .csv file, but am getting error messages, and am unable to
select "use default" for the mapping, so each field needs to be set manually
(not very user-friendly).

Anybody know an easy way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Please go to outlook contacts folder.
Select all the contacts which you want to move to Business Contacts.
Drag and drop all selceted items to Business Contacts folder under Business
Contact Manager.

You will be able to copy the Outlook Contacts in Business Contact folder.

I want to COPY my contacts from Outlook into BCM. I need to also retain them
in Outlook as that syncs to my Palm Pilot.

Please advise on how to move an entire folder (and/or a subfolder) from my
"contacts" in Outlook 2003 into BCM while retaining them also in Outlook.

Thank you!

Thank you Vineet, but I want to retain a copy in Outlook. Using this method,
I seem to have MOVED the files rather than copied them. Is there a way to
keep the records in both locations? I need to keep them in Outlook in order
to sync to my Palm Pilot (unless there is another way to do this).

Thanks, Vineet, but this method appears to MOVE the files. I'm trying to COPY
them and leave them in the original location in Outlook in order to be able
to sync into my Palm Pilot.

Please advise.

Thanks

Hold down the Ctrl key while you drag.
