The following is repeatable:
1) File >> New >> Mail Message
2) [Enter some text in the body]
3) File >> Save
4) File >> Exit
5) [Navigate to Drafts folder, where the message will have been saved]
6) [Highlight the message just created]
7) Edit >> Delete
8) Edit >> Undo Delete
9) [Attempt to drag the message from Drafts to any other folder]
Outlook will refuse to move the message, issuing the following error
message:
"Can't move the items. The item could not be moved. it was iether already
moved or deleted, or access was denied."
Further notes:
- Exiting and restarting Outlook will allow the message to be moved.
- Creating a new user profile pointing to the same .PST file has no effect.
- SCANPST finds no errors in the .PST file.
- Help >> Detect and Repair has no effect.
This is an example of a class of problems related to Delete/Undo Delete, but
is the simplest to illustrate.
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
