Hi.
I cofigured a dial-up connection on my Windows XP. When I connect to my ISP
the icon of the connection apears in the status bar (near the clock). When I
passed with the mouse on that icon some connection statistics displays
(connection speed,...).
I don't know how, but from yesterday on the icon doesn't apear any more. I
tried to connect with another dial-up connection and there the icon
displays.
Than I checked the settings of the 'buggy' connection ... the 'Show icon in
status bar' IS checked. I retried to connect, but there was stil no icon, so
I navigated to Network Connections and try to start 'Status' with the right
mouse click, but nothing happen.
I also tried to remove the connection (delete it) and make a new connection
with the same name, but also this doesn't work.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve my problem?
BTW: Yesterday I only upgraded my Windows with the last bug fixes from
Windows Upgrade site.
Regards,
Dezo
