problems deleting.

I am getting a cannot delete warning. It states that
another person or program is using this file. I have
shutdown everything I can but still no luck.

Any suggestions/advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Go to the following site, scroll to line 39 and click "Delete an Undeletable
File in Windows XP" in the right column:

Be sure to make a manual restore point before executing the above procedure:
Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.

Hi,

You could've shared the folder that you wish to delete. Check that the
folder you're going to delete is not shared.
