I've started having problems with users dialing into the RRAS server. It
seems that the first user that signs in will get full access, however anyone
connecting afterwards only gets access to the internal network, this also
includes the first user once they disconnect the first time. I've configured
the server as a Remote Access Server with Win2000 SP4. This server has been
running for over 2 years and has only started having problems in the last
month. I am also using the DIGIBoard RAS 8. I've gone through several
reinstalls of RRAS and still no fix. I keep getting the same problem 1st
time connection is great all others get internal only. Any solutions would
be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Leo

Hi,
My guess is tha the remote access policy must be the
problem.Try checking all policies.Maye be the order the
ploicies are must also be apoint to be noted.

hi leo alls,

appreciate if you or someone can post a step-by-step on how to
setup RRAS on win2k server. i've already setup one but here's the problem:

client pc's can connect to RRAS however the client pc cannot ping the local network
or browse the internet. the RRAS server can browse the internet.

RRAS server details:
ip: 192.168.0.6
s/m: 255.255.255.0
gw: 192.168.0.2

client pc details:
ip: 192.168.0.251
s/m: 255.255.255.255
gw: 192.168.0.251

thanks,

Clear the default gateway setting on the LAN NIC of the server. The
server's default route should be to the Internet only.
