Hi there,
we are currently supporting a client who has provided us with login
credentials to establish a VPN connection to them via PPTP/MS RAS. We can
get the connection up and running fine, from a PC sitting behind a NAT
firewall. However, when we try to make another connection from another PC,
behind the same NAT firewall, the first computer has problems with the VPN.
I am thinking this maybe due to the fact that both VPN clients will be
coming into the RAS VPN peer from the same IP address, since they are behind
the same NAT firewall.
Are there known restrictions with PPTP, and clients behind NAT devices?
Can I modify Access Rules on the firewall to work-around this?
At present only 1 person can open a VPN connection to the client at any one
time.
Your thoughts and suggestions?
cheers
