problems capturing video with MM2

When I attempt to capture video in MM2, the time keeps
running, butthe file size stops at 3KB. When I stop the
capture and click the finish button, the program crashes.

I am capturing analog. Thing is, it worked fine the

first few times I used it. Then, all of a sudden it just
stopped working. I didn't do anything different to my
machine. I am running a 1.2 Gig Athlon with 256MB RAM and
I have 160 GB worth of hard disk space. My video capture
card is an ATI with 64MB of memory and all the latest
drivers loaded. I'm stumped.
 
What aspect ratio are you using? I have this same
problem when I try to capture video in 16:9. I don't
have the problem capturing in 4:3. 16:9 is what my
camcorder records in.
