Problems Booting into XP.

I have installed Vista 32bit buisness addition in a dual boot
configuration with XP on my laptop. XP resides in the C: partition,
and Vista buisness is in the E: partition. I am doing this to play
around with vista and to get acquainted with it.
Originally, when I turned on my computer, the boot loader showed up
and allowed me to boot into either XP or Vista.
A couple of days ago I damaged some files on the Vista partition, and
ran the automated recovery from the Vista DVD.
Now I do not get the prompt to boot into Windows XP. Vista boots
automatically, no questions asked.
I really need to access XP, since all of my programs and my work are
there.
Any help on how to Boot into XP and how to get the bootloader back
would be helpful.
I am of moderately high technical level so any type of suggestions
that work will be useful

Thank you!

You can use Vistabootpro to reconfigure Vista's bootloader.
