My pc crashed and i was unable to recover any of the operating system. i
ordered new recovery disks from hp and installed new system. went
directly to windows site and downloaded all the updates it said i
needed.
This is a process ive now done on 5-6 occasions over the last year.
everything seems to work fine for a couple months then suddenly my
system crashes. im wondering what else i can possibly do to prevent
this and get my system working correctly from the start? do i have to
update drivers or anything else like bios or motherboard?

Either you have hardware problems or you are doing something that causes
your computer to need restoring. This is not normal behavior.
Unfortunately, you haven't given us enough information about the system
or the details of the problems ("my pc crashed" doesn't tell us
anything) so you can't get focused help.
