I just installed SP4 and cannot access the "My Computer"
and "My Documents" folders. When I double-click on
the "My Computer" icon, nothing seems to happen. When I
double-click on the "My Documents" icon, it appears that
the folder opens and closes very quickly, but nothing else
seems to happen.
What is causing this behavior? What can I do to repair
the problem? (I'm comfortable with all levels of system
modification, including the registry - if needed.)
BTW, this is a consistent problem with this particular
machine - I have already reinstalled Win2kPro twice on
this systen because of this problem -
