Ich habe einen Scanner MD42666 an meinen neuen Yakumo-PC mit Chipset RC410
mit Celeron D Prozessor an USB V2.0 angeschlossen. (der Scanner lief/läuft
problemlos an meinem alten PC Fujitsu/Siemens T-Bird Celeron an USB V1.1).

I can easily understand your post, aber darf nicht auf Deutsch meine
Antwort zu schreiben:

Do you have more than one device connected via USB? Are you connecting
through a USB hub? Try disconnecting all other USB devices and connect
the scanner directly to a primary USB port on the computer.

Mike.

Yes, I have a printer additional connected via USB. I have disconnected the
printer, and tried again, but the problem remained the same.

If the device appears in Device Manager and is shown to be functioning
OK (look under "Properties"), then the next step would be to remove the
software and reinstall it. With some usb devices the device must be
connected before installing the software. With other usb devices you
must install the software first and afterwards connect the device.
Check carefully the instructions for installing device.

Mike.

Hallo Mike,

thanks for your advices. The problem was: on the usb-hub was connected a
cardreader. I disabled the device and installed the scanner software once
more. It worked.
