Frank - if you have no free (unallocated) space on a disk then you will not
be able to create a new partition.

the problem is i cant create a new partition because i
have no unpartitioned space

Only if you have FREE space on a volume, and only by using a 3rd-party tool, (like Partition Magic or BootItNG) can you "shrink down" an existing volume, making room for a new partition. It all depends on how much free space you have & how much space you need for a new partition.
