Hi,
I have a problem with picture-files. When I open a folder with pictures in
it, I don't see a preview of the picture, only the file type (like music
files; you see i.g a Windows media player logo).
And when I right-click on a picture-file, there's no option to put it as a
wallpaper. It's asif they're not pictures at all.

Please help!

Try this, maybe it will restore the option:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"

I also have a very strange problem which I have only just discovered. I can
download pictures OK from my camera but when I e-amil the jpg formatted
picture from "My Pictures", the person receiving can also access other
photos/pictures from my hard drive by clicking on "Previous" or "Next" i.e
they do not only have access to the photo sent but can access others and some
confidential. THis appears to be happening with every photo on my pictures.

Can this be resolved?
