I have created a rule in Outlook 2000. It is (I thought) a basic rule
- I search each message coming in for "usm_workgroup" in the subject,
and then move it to the USM Workgroup folder. I created this rule
using the rules wizard, and ran it on the inbox, and it worked.
However, when I try to exit the rules wizard, it tells me the rule
isn't complete, and removes my reference to the USM Workgroup folder
for no apparent reason. The most baffling thing about this is that I
have 13 other rules that use the exact same format.

I am running Outlook 2000 in Corporate or WOrkgroup Mode. My program
version is 9.0.0.3821 (SR1). This is very annoying and frustrating,
and Iw as wondering if anyone else had the same problem, or if someone
had a solution.

Thanks for your time!

It sounds like you've got too many rules configured here. The total amount
of rules cannot exceed 32KB. You'll now for sure that the rules is correct
and that it is a storage issue by disabling all the other rules when you
create a new one. If it works now you'll have to delete/deactivate/combine
some rules. There is no way you can increase the 32KB storage limit for
rules.
