Hi,
I have purchased a wireless LAN adapter from Acer and am
trying to install the driver, but am having problems. I
have followed the directions and am trying to load the
driver prior to attaching the adapter (I have tried to
attach the adapter and the load the driver as well, but
that doesn't work either). The driver begins to load and
then I get the following message:
"An error (-5006: 0x800704cf) has occured while running
the setup. Please make sure you have finished any previous
setup and closed other applications."
I do not have any other applications running, so I don't
know what the problem is. I have also restarted my
computer.
Any ideas as to what the problem might be?
