Problem with windows update + new window loads

Hell I am having trouble downloading anything from windows
update. It tells me what is available and lets me select
it and when I tell it to install the updates it gives me
the software agreement screen then it goes to the download
window and it just sits there saying waiting for download
it does not progress at all. I have also noticed another
problem when IE tries to load certain windows such as
weblets in a seperate window, the window opens but it just
sits there. It does not load the page.

I had the same trouble with MS updates today, assumed it
was due to heavy traffic and decided to try again later.

As for loading IE in separate window, see my 4:31 post:

Disable your firewall and anti-virus when obtaining the updates.
