Hi! I just recently purchased a webcam that said it was Windows Vista
compatible however once I got it and installed it when I try to use it I get
nothing but a black screen, no picture and no sound. Device manager shows
that it is working properly.
The camera name is VIMICRO USB PC CAMERA {VC0303} , my operating system is
Windows Vista Home Premium. Is there a driver or something I was supposed to
install pr some settings I need to configure? Thank you so much!

I have the VC301 and I used to have same problem like yours with my Vista
Ultimate. Try this: 1)install the driver first(don't let the computer search
for the driver). 2)boot up the computer, then connect the webcam and let the
computer search for the driver.

If it still doesn't work, go to device manager and unintall/install the
driver again.
It should work this way. Good Luck!
