This could be caused by bad drivers, make sure you've got the latest
Vista drivers for your hardware.
Also, make sure your virusscanner and firewall software is Vista
compatible.

Hi:

Well, I got exactly the same message (and the blue screen) with my brand new
Toshiba... what I did is install the updated drivers for my video and sound
cards. Also I had to upgrade my Nero up to 7.8.5.0 because certains drivers
weren't fully compatible with Vista.

Done so, I've never seen that ugly screen again... and I hope I never will :).

You don't specify what were you doing at the time the blue screen
appeared... I was trying to open a divx movie with BSPlayer.

Also it appears that Clone DVD is not yet fully Vista-compatible because I
was getting blue screen with that too.

I hope this helps.

hey, try checing out 'program reports and solution' in your control panel..
when i had this problem, after being told to look there i error checked my
drives and these seem to work. to do this, go to 'computer' right click on
one of the Hard Disk drives, select properties, then tools and
error-checking. Then make sure both boxes are ticked (otherwise it will just
list the probelms and NOT fix them.....i would recomend doing this for both
drives. btw, it will take a LONG time......it will be scheduled for the next
time u turn on your comptuer...so do it when u know u have plenty of
time......

hope this helps!!
