Hello, here again an issue with Vista, as I couldn't find a related forum for
Vista. I hope that you however can help me.
I observe this on different systems, we have this problem since the
automatic update spreads the language packs:
The two Vista Ultimate systems are in a domain, and the domain has a WSUS
2.0 server. (WSUS 3.0 installation is another problem I have to solve...). I
could also see this problem on my home Ultimate system, which contacts the MS
update servers directly.
It began with installing the language packs. Since then, many updates are
offered to the systems again and again and again. Sometimes installation of
the updates is successfull, sometimes not. It also trys to install updates
which already have installed successfully before, and fails. This is an
endless loop on the Ultimates.
There is also one Vista Premium in the domain, which does not get the
language packs, and this one still behaves finde.
