I have recently upgraded from office 2000 to Office 2003.
When I click "To" for the Contacts List I get and Error Box which says " Can't contact LDAP Directory server (81)"
When Click OK a "Select Names" Box appears. This allows me to open a drop down menu which allows me to select the Contacts Directory which is what I want. All my Contacts then appear in the box, and I can select the Conatc I need. However this selection of the contacts directory is not maintained as the default, so when I start another Email I get the same sory again. It is very annoying. Can anyone suggest a solution.? Kind regards

Remove the LDAP service if you're not using one and make the Outlook Address
Book your default instead.
Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or address
books >
