Problem with uploading videos

I can make the videos with ease with the exception of the program locking up
for 5 minutes everytime I go to do something. The big problem is when I
attempt to "Save Movie File", it ALWAYS stays at 0% or it will say
543780573470 minutes left which is bizarre, my videos have worked fine up
until this point. I've deleted the videos I've made and put them onto a CD to
make room, but apparently that's not the problem either. What is it?

Hi
Too supply too little relevent detail?
Your heading is: "Problem with uploading videos"? ("uploading"?)
You typed:
"everytime I go to do something"? - What exactly?
And also:
"The big problem is when I attempt to "Save Movie File"?
What?

But confusingly you started this thread with:
"I can make the videos with ease"?
How are you making video's? With what software? What format?

So for now, I'll take a few wild guesses...............

WMM is extremely fussy with formats, it is only assured compatibility
with WMV and DV-AVI, it can work with some other AVI formats -
but then only with specific but non-approved plug-in's.
WMM cannot work with mpegs, nor quicktime, nor RM etc etc
Usually if you try to import a non-compliant format, it will display
as a white box with a red cross to clearly indicate it dosen't like
the format, but in some instances it may display the imported clip
though it is a non-complaint format, this maybe misleading, as it
still won't produce anything from these type of clips, and that I
suspect is the problem........
Your error message indicates you are trying to produce a file
from formats that are not supported? Or at least are confusing
WMM, are the original clips in Pal? And you are trying to produce
NTSC? Or vice versa?
There could be other reasons, have you a fully uptodate XP
with service pack2? Is it a desktop? If it is a laptop - it's spec
maybe below par for video editing?
You need to supply more details, specifically the format of the
video clips you are trying to work from?

And how many clips and transitions are in the project as well as the specs
for your computer.
