Stanley Ma

Hi,

I hope someone here can help me.

Something happened a few months ago (I don't exactly know
what) that made IE6 act up. When I try to go to
www.ebay.com, I automatically get forwarded to the
following URL:

http://adfarm.mediaplex.com/ad/ck/711-1751-4022-0?
bfinfo=MO030425BF7B59A83ED8405E94B154BCA0D48721

After being forwarded, the browser is completely blank.
Not even an error message.

When I disable third-party extensions, however,
www.ebay.com will work but with errors on page and
certain portions of the web site is missing.

What is wrong and how can I fix this?

Thanks in advance. I'd appreciate it if you can e-mail
the answers to me.

Stan,
Questions asked here answered here :-)

"Mediaplex" is a third-party ad tracking service which may or may not be affiliated
with e-bay, I have not read e-bay's Privacy Statement.

You can successfully block third-party ad servers and more with a Browser tweak
called a HOSTS file, info on that by my colleague and compatriot Mike Burgess.

Stanley,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
