I am frequently using a web site with a main page updated
on an ongoing basis. Since very recently, I have noticed
that the page is not updated unless I delete the Temporary
Internet Files. Consequently, I always have to delete the
Temp files (even if almost empty) in order for thie page
to be updated.

Anyone has an idea on this ?
It would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried a different setting in Tools-Internet Options-Settings
(in the TIF section)?

Thanks Alan - The TIF section ? Please excuse me, I am
really not an expert, are you referring to the Advanced
Internet Options ? In which case, would you have any
recommendations (to try) ?

Thanks so much,

Pierre

No, I am not referring to the Advanced section.
You are going too far.
I am pointing you to the first page of Internet Options (the General
tab) where you will see "Settings" in the TIF section (Temporary
Internet Files)

Internet options..general tab..click the settings button under
Temporary internet files.

Thank you very much Alan & Ricky,

I have tried all the possibilities (that I know) in the
TIF settings before I came to this forum such as:
1)Viewing the actual files and deleting
2)Creating a new TIF folder
3)Reduced the space to the minimum 1MB

Is there anything I didn't think of ?

Thank you again so much for your assistance.

What about the most relevant items?
You don't even mention the settings that you were supposed to look at.
I assumed you would look at them and try settings like "Every visit to
the page"

What have you set for "Check for newer versions of stored pages"?

Thanks Alan & Rick,

I have solved the problem - It was in fact so "stupid" the
TIF settings was on "Never check for update" instead of
Automatically...

Thank you Again,

Pierre

That's what we were wanting you to check ;-)
