Im running Windows XP. When i boot up im asked to log in
as one of the users (this is a family computer). Im also
running internet explorer. After succesfully loging in,
I get a pop up window that says " Missing file TFTP2224"
then it says would i like to find file through the
internet or i have the option to do it maunually. I dont
know how to do this manually nor could i find the
solution on the net. Then again a second pop up window
that says "window socket error: only one usage of socket
adress (protocol/network adress/ port) is normally
permitted (100048, on API 'bind'" This pop up does not go
away and continues to maltiply every 15 seconds. This is
the problem can you help me? Thankyou for the help.

First eliminate any scumware.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
