Problem with Shopping baskets

Hi all,

I have IE6 and McAfee and seem to be having a problem with shopping baskets
at some sites, one being Luminous film and video wurks, and I was wondering
if this is a security issue? I've turned off McAfee and reduced security on
the browser to no avail -- any suggestions as to what else I might try?

No error messages, but the items will disapear from my basket if I change
shipping option and the browser will not let me switch to a secure credit
card handler. It just stops.
Not on all sites, but on the likes of Luminous and Absurd.
 
Hi,
Some things to try:
Internet Options> Advanced> uncheck "Do not save encrypted pages to disk."

Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone> Custom> check "Enable userdata
persistence." Or place the site in Trusted Sites.

Internet Options> Privacy> if you aren't allowing all cookies, make sure
that you're allowing cookies from those sites.

Post back if these steps don't help.

All these settings were present and correct, Don. Still having a problem!

Well... the only other possibilities that come to mind are:
1. Disable any privacy/security type programs that might be blocking cookies
or interfering in some other way.
2. If some/many/most other shopping sites work OK, check with Support of the
sites that don't work.
