Problem with saving my video

When I finish my editing, I start saving to my computer.
After aprox. 75 % of saving MM colapse. Is my output file
too large? /about 300MB/. It is 40 min long video from
Panasonic DV /50 series /camera.
 
How big is your RAM? I had similar problems with saving
until I upgraded my RAM (from 128mb to 640mb). Now it
works perfectly.
