Problem with Samsung dvd-rom sd-604

Hi, i'm italian so forgive my bad english.
i put my old dvd rom in my new computer and it doesn't function. In Device manager it seem to be all okay....but when i try to play a dvd it stop and doesn't function.
It seem to be a driver problem...i can't find a driver for use it with windows XP profesional. Please help me!!!!!
 
Hi

I can use my WMP9 and Asus DVD player to play DVD without any problem
Try update the XP WMP to WMP9. You can get it from the windows update site in the recommended Update column
Or you can download it from MSN.com or from Microsoft website
