Mike

Hi,

I really would appreciate any ideas with regard to this
problem.

I am using Outlook 2003 connecting to Exchange 2003. I
have set up a very simple rule to forward all incoming
mail to enother account. If I click 'Run Now' it works
fine and forwards anything in the Inbox, but any mail
that comes in does not get automatically forwarded. I
have tried internal and external addresses to forward to,
but neither work. I have service packed the XP
workstation and Outlook to the latest release.

Thanks in advance

Mike

This is a security feature on the Exchange server. By default all automatic
forwarding to the Internet is disabled. You'll need to contact your
administrator to verify that this is indeed disabled.

This may well be the problem, but I AM the administrator.
I've found details of this setting in Exchange 5.5 but
not Exchange 2003. Any idea where it is?

Many thanks

Mike

To allow this in Exchange 2003 launch ESM > expand Global Settings > select
Internet Message Format > in the right hand pane go into the Properties of
*Default and select the Advanced Tab.

Many thanks
