Hi,

I just found out something. When I highlight query and go
open - all the records are missing there. The only record
that exist is the only one that gets picked up by report.
How is possible that data exist in table but not there ?
In order to figure out why the query did not pick up the
records I need to see the query . How can I do that ?

Thanks,
Nata

Hello Nata.,

In order to see how your query is constructed, use
the 'design' option. Just highlight your query and then
click on 'design'.

The next item to look at is the 'date' format that you are
using. If you are using the same 'date' format for the
info in the records and the selection criteria, the data
should be selected and available in the resulting dynaset.
If not, you won't see the correct dynaset returned to you.

Lastly, and this is just a comment, I find it hard to
comprehend a 100 MB Access database with only one data
table. If this is true, you will probably have more
problems working with your data in the future.

Access is a relational database and the data usually is
broken up into multiple tables of 'Like Data'. The data
can then be selected, using queries, into a dynaset (data
set) with the required information. The dataset can then
be used to populate a form, report, etc...

I hope this helps,
