problem with report faxing

Having trouble printing a report to WinFax in Ac2003. My report has
the
default printer as WinFax, but when I initiate a send action, a winfax
icon
appears briefly on screen as if transfer is occurring, but report is
apparrently not transmitted, and there is nothing selected to fax.
Winfax seems to work fine in MsWord, so it doesnt seem to be a problem
with
WinFax.
Anyone have any idea what is wrong to cause this problem
 
How are you "initiating a send action"?  You should just print it and it will
go to winfax.

I'm 'sending' as you mention, but there is no effect. I can't send
this particular report to fax or to standard printer. Same is true of
my backup copy Db. It seems that this particular report is not
capturing the printer driver properly, but I don't understand why, or
what to do to resolve the problem.

Just realized the following:
I'm opening the report by means of a macro, which opens repot in
preview mode. I was previously able to then 'Print' to fax by means
of the 'print' icon on menu bar, or from File-Print. However, I now
am unable to carry out this 'print' action.
If I change the macro to open in 'Print' mode, it does, indeed, print
to fax (or any other printer) successfully.
Any clue as to why it can't print after opened in preview mode?

Found that the macro I was using to open report in preview mode was
also closing the form that was provideing the report parameters--------
oops, stupid mistake.
