I went to Control Panel and clicked on the program that I
wanted to remove and it says that it can't find some
uninstall file although the file never existed. So, I was
wondering how I can remove that program from the
Add/Remove Programs. Thanks,
Chris

Thanks for the advise. When I delete the prorgam, it
still shows in the Add/Remove Programs. When I try to
remove it in Add/Remove Programs, it says that it can't
find an uninstall file(although that file never existed).
So, is there a way that I can just manually delete the
program and then after that, delete where it is listed in
the Add/Remove Programs. That's my main dilemma is that I
am trying to remove it from the Add/Remoev Programs.
Thanks,
Chris

I had to do this recently with a program and found a link
at Microsoft which I hope is not broken:
"How to Manually Remove Programs from the Add or Remove
Programs Tool"
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;314481&Product=winxp

Even then I had to perform other operations specific to
the program. The described procedure involves editing the
registry which is not an easy operation for a novice user.
