Hello,
we are having a strange problem when doing a remote destop on a
server.
Users from one site can do a "remote desktop" on all servers with
their usernames, expect a particular one on with they get an error:
"Unable to locate a comtaible version of vdfvm10.dll(version 10.1) or
one of its components".
(the file vdfvm10.dll does neither exist on the client nor on the
server)
With my own account, I am able to log in. Since I am also in another
Active Directory container, my first thought was a group policy, so I
put myself in the same container as the people that are not able to
log in and did a gpupdate and I was still able to do the login. So it
seems to me that the problem is not AD-related.
Since the users are also able to log in on the given machine with the
local Administrator account, the problem also seems not to be related
to the network.
Google doesnt give me any hint on this error.
Perhaps someone could give me an idea.
Thanx
