Problem with redetection of printer upon start up/restart

Hi, I hope someone can help with this very annoying problem!

I have a problem with my PC redetecting my printer (Epson c64) upon start
up/restart. the menu for installation. After being cancelled, it pops up
roughly 6 or 7 times repeatedly not at the same time before stopping.

Despite it already being installed and working fine, this happens every time

How do I sort this out?
