Problem with Powerpoint 2002 converted to Powerpoint 2000

I would appreciate any input into the following problem
(espeically some suggested fixes).

I have made a great molecular modeling animation in
Powerpoint 2002. Problem: my college does not use 2002,
but has Powerpoint 2000. But, when I tried to play the
animationed presentation slides (either as Powerpoint
2002 OR powerpoint saved as PP 2000) the slides freeze up
or (as with the saved 2000 format) throw all of the
objects of the animation up on the slide at once-no
timing!

Any ideas how I can take a Powerpoint 2002 custom
animation and make it usable in Powerpoint 2000?

Thank you for your help. Best wishes.

Lawrence,
If you don't need to edit the presentation on the machine at school, what
about showing it with the newer viewer? It is designed to handle the new
animations and the more complex timelines of PowerPoint 2002 and 2003.

You can get both viewers from the Microsoft website. Read this PPT FAQ entry
to learn more about the various viewers:

One caveat -- since Lawrence also asked about Flash files in PPT, it's
probably wise to warn him now that the Viewers don't do Flash...
