problem with plugin.ocx and kb912945

Hello
I try to see a web with activex controls and I see in a forum that I must
change the version of plugin.ocx (its a file of windows) and install the
kb912945. If I do it I can see the web ok, but when i resart the computer the
windows file protection delete the version that i install. My version of
IExplorer is 6.0.2900.2180
Can anyone help me?

Are you sure you installed the version for WinXP SP2 per this article?

Yes, I've the XP SP2. I don't kwon if must to change the file plugin.ocx.
It's strange.
