Problem With Patch KB840987

When I install the latest security patch KB840987, I can no longer copy a
file. When I use Windows Explorer and do a right mouse click, or from Edit /
Copy on the toolbar, Windows Explorer crashes. This is on a Win 2000 Pro
with all previous patches and upgrades installed

Same problem for me when I try to delete a file, Windows Explorer Crash...
 
Same (right-click and select&delete) happens on my PC,
but it's XP Pro with SP1. If I install SP2, it crashes
even without KB840987, so there must be something else
that makes problem both to KB840987 and SP2 :(
