I'm running Windows ME, Powerpoint 2000.

When I pack my presentation to a temp folder, than unpack it to the final
folder that I will be using to burn my CD, the final folder includes
Playlist.lst. I have been adding to the final folder on a notepad, an
autorun.inf

The CD never does autorun. I need to click on the Playlist.lst. The following
error message comes up: Powerpoint can't read E:\playlist.lst because the .lst
file format is no longer supported.

What do I need to do?

Thank you.

Which Viewer do you have installed? Pack and Go requires the "old"
Viewer - - the PowerPoint 97 Viewer. Your autorun.inf file should contain
something like:

[autorun]
open=PPVIEW32.EXE yourfile.ppt

What does the second line of your file contain?
