Hi,
At first, Im french, so please excuse my reallyl bad english !

I've just download an install Vista RC2 but I have some trouble with my
mainboard's drivers ! It's a P4P800 and the installation CD tells me that my
system is "not compatlble with this software".
I'd really like to test this new OS but without netword card...it seems to
be difficult !
Is there anybody who have the driver vor this mainboard card ? Especially
for the 3com 3C940 network card ???

Thank you !

There is way to work it out, if you are lucky one...-;)
Try to let the Vista to pick up the driver automatically
when you insert the CD into drive. It might accept it
and select a minimum installation ( drivers only).
Do not try to install the entire application. That won't work.
Rather choose manual installation - direct the Windows installer
to the drivers directory on the CD.
( Just an example when you're asked to provide the CD
go to D:\3Com\French\audio\drivers)

Hi McLaren,
First, thank you taking some of your time to answer me.
But I already tried this solution...it didn't worked :o(
I asked the question on a lot of forums...and there's a lot of people who
have the same problem !
I think all i have is to wait for the constructor driver...
Anyway, thank you again !

Hi Maxime.
The XP driver works with Vista RC2.
Search the forum for "P4P800".
