Problem with Outlook Express

I've been using Outlook Express for some time with no
problems. I now have a big problem with my Outbox in
Outlook Express 6.

The messages in my Outbox are sent when I connect to my
ISP, but they stay in the Outbox after the messages are
sent and they get sent again the next time I dial my ISP.

I've tried to delete the messages but Outlook Express says
it can not delete the messages.

I decided to reinstal Outlook Express, but when I tried to
export my messages I get a mesage saying "the export could
not be performed, your default MAPI store could not be
opened"

Any thoughts ?

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
