problem with outlook express

hi there whoever replys could someone tell why my isp
disconnects everytime i open outlook express and when i
try to send and recieve it does the same

Go to Tools - Options - Connection (tab), and see if "Hang up after sending
and receiving" is on. If it is, take it off. The reason why it happens when
you start OE (assuming the above is the problem) is that it does a send and
receive automatically on startup if you have the option set, which I believe
it is by default.

[Please check that the newsgroup you post to is the most appropriate - there
are specific Outlook Express groups you could use.]
