I've upgraded to 07 from 03. Outlook opens up OK and I can open and close a
message. But when I try to delete the message, Outlook shuts down. I don't
get a particular error code but it says that Outlook has encountered a
problem and needs to close. I've run the diagnostics and repairs but still
have the same problem. Can anyone tell me how to correct this?
Will appreciate the assistance.

Does it work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe
(note the space in the command)

If it does, it is probably caused by an add-in. To troubleshoot see;
http://www.msoutlook.info/question/88

If it doesn't, it is probably caused by a corruption in the pst-file and you
need to check it for errors with scanpst.exe. For this see;
http://www.msoutlook.info/question/77

If both don't work, then we'll require what exactly has been logged to the
Event Viewer. To get to that information see;
http://www.msoutlook.info/question/317

I tried the 1st 2 options and it still keeps closing. I checked the event
log and the errors are showing is the following:

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 12.0.6423.1000, stamp 49b08185,
faulting module mdconnector32.dll, version 2.1.3.0, stamp 45464666, debug? 0,
fault address 0x000342b0.

You have the MDaemon Connector installed which is crashing. Contact them for
an update (latest version is 2.2.3) or uninstall it if you do not use it.
