Problem with Office 2003 on Vista

I have noticed that when runnig Vista RC1 and Word 2003, if I select text
Word freezes for a few seconds. It doesn't lock up, just freezes. Is anyone
else having this problem?

Haven;t experienced this since testing Vista over the past 15 months. Have
installed the latest Service Pack for Word 2003?

I have used Office 2003 in all beta version - no problems with any program

I have Office SP2

Haven;t experienced this since testing Vista over the past 15 months. Have
installed the latest Service Pack for Word 2003?

should check if your computer is freezing up not only in MS Office but in
other apps too.
what happens in the other office suite app such as powerpoint, excel, etc.
does it "freeze" also? have you tried installing and uninstalling MS Office
and reapplying SPs?

Yes, I have seen this with Office 2007 Beta 2 and Vista RC1. After upgrading
Office 2007 to B2TR and Vista to RC2, the problem went away.
